One day, my daughter came home and said, "Mom, why don't we sell freeze-dried candy at the farmer's market in Manitowoc this summer?" My answer was, "I have no idea what that is. Freeze-dried what?" That afternoon we got a bag of Skittles and the rest is history! Together we spent the summer experimenting with and making candy, while giving away free samples and selling bags locally. With the end of the farmer's market season, all of our customers asked us to create an online store, so they could still get their favorites. We are still willing to deliver locally, with the same prices as at the market, but we will happily provide free delivery all across the county!
